The DYC Foundation seeks to provide financial academic scholarships to high performing (and/or high potential) students who demonstrate financial need and/or have overcome great adversity.
DYC Foundation College Assistance Program
The DYC Foundation is pleased to introduce its College Assistance Program, which will provide comprehensive financial, academic, and personal support for up to six (6) orphans (or children currently living in foster care, currently living without parental financial support, and/or under other extenuating circumstances).
The College Assistance Program will select high potential children from established orphanages, social care, or church relief programs who demonstrate both financial need and high academic and personal potential. The DYC Foundation will cover the academic and living costs (e.g., school, room and board, etc.) of the selected students until graduation from an accredited college or university (contingent on continued academic performance, personal integrity, and financial need).
The DYC Foundation believes that every child should have access to a home and an education and is committed to the long term development of students selected for the College Assistance Program in order to become productive citizens and outstanding leaders of their community.
Since 2016, the DYC Foundation has partnered with the Oak Tree Project in Seoul, South Korea. The DYC Foundation is supporting one orphan student with Oak Tree Project by supporting her housing and living costs while she attends university in Seoul to pursue a degree in Physical Therapy.
